Founded in 2020, KLE Consulting is a certified Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) dedicated to transforming research into actionable strategies that drive measurable impact. We specialize in public health consulting, program evaluation, data collection, and capacity building, partnering with organizations to develop effective, evidence-based solutions that support communities.

OUR FOUNDER

Dr. Kecia L. Ellick bridges the gap between research and practice, driven by a passion for practical, data-informed solutions. With over 12 years of experience in public health research, program evaluation, teaching, and mentorship, Dr. Ellick applies her extensive expertise to developing impactful programs and strategies for organizations.

Her academic journey includes earning a Ph.D. in Family Science from the University of Maryland, where she explored stress and coping among highly educated professionals. She also holds an M.S. in Developmental Psychology and dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Sociology. Certified in family life education, mediation, and professional coaching, Dr. Ellick brings a multidisciplinary perspective to every project.

Dr. Ellick has taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Psychology and Prevention Science, sharing her expertise with students and fostering a collaborative learning environment. She has also mentored numerous doctoral students through their dissertation journeys, supporting the next generation of scholars and researchers. Her dedication to education underscores her commitment to expanding knowledge and fostering leadership.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ellick has worked on public health initiatives, focusing on program evaluation, reproductive health, and behavioral health, partnering with federal agencies, academic institutions, and community organizations. Her unique blend of academic, research, and applied expertise positions her as a trusted leader in developing innovative, data-driven solutions.
